Not easy to admit.

I try to give you an honest look at the lifestyle. For this reason I will include a not so wonderful experience.

Sunday hubby and I decided to go to a local swingers' club. This is one that we have a membership to and have frequented in the past, but hadn't been to in months due to busy schedules.

They have updated/improved their facilities immensely, including the addition of a pool and they moved the three hot tubs to the pool area.

Needless to say, we spent a lot of time in that area. We chatted with some couples, but apparently didn't "connect" with anyone.

Hubby and I went into the couples section inside, where the beds are...mirrors on the ceiling, etc. We enjoyed each other as a gentleman watched from afar.

Since no one else was in the room we decided to finish off our wine and head back to the pool where we spent a good 45 mins to an hour. As most of you know, water---particularly pool water---is not a great lubricant.

After we splashed around for a bit and chatted with the same folks who were there earlier, we went back to the couples room. This time there were couples already in there. This usually gets my juices flowing more than usual, but for some reason, this time it didn't.

Ugh. Apparently my time in the pool caused me to dry up. :-( We hadn't packed lube (because lord knows, *I* rarely need it). So I wasn't able to make love to my hubby again. I felt so bad and so embarrassed.

Of course, he was perfectly understanding about it, but I spent the rest of the time there and the drive home apologizing for ruining the evening.

He saw it in a totally different light. He saw it as a chance for us to enjoy watching others and spending our time cuddling and kissing rather than fucking.

So, ladies and gentlemen, although it's generally perceived that men are the ones who ALWAYS have the sexual difficulty...remember it can also happen to HER. :-(
